The high repetition coefficient of the same part in each machine is another characteristic of textile machinery. Taking the spinning machine as an example, if each machine has 400 spindles and simultaneously spins 400 yarns, it requires 400 identical steel rings, spindles, etc. each. As for the number of needles used in knitting machines, it is even larger. A high-speed warp knitting machine with a working range of 6.6 meters requires 7280 grooved needles per unit. Machinery factories that produce these parts need to design corresponding tools, fixtures, molds, and even multi-station automatic machine tools or assembly lines based on the batch size of the parts to ensure the efficiency, high quality, and low cost of these parts production. The complexity of textile machinery parts also manifests in their types, as different processing objects require the design and manufacturing of different types of parts based on different raw materials such as cotton, linen, wool, silk, and chemical fibers. For example, woolen spinning spindles need to have larger dimensions than cotton spinning spindles, but similar structures. For example, due to the diversity of fabric door widths, there must be machines with the same structural principle but different working amplitudes. If the above-mentioned parts and machine parameters are allowed to develop arbitrarily, it will have adverse effects on product design efficiency, production management, and production costs in textile machinery factories. Moreover, it will increase the workload of equipment management, vulnerable parts storage, maintenance, and replacement in textile factories, and even cause disorder in factory management. The purpose of standardization is to use the main technical parameters that are as simplified as possible and have appropriate numerical spacing distribution as the design basis for a group of machines with different capacities, while meeting different process requirements. For example, spinning machines are designed in series according to spindle spacing, weaving and dyeing machines are designed in series according to working range, and knitting machines are designed in series according to needle diameter.
